CARRY-IN ALCOHOL NOW PROHIBITED
Baer Field Speedway announced today, that their liquor license has been approved by the Indiana Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
Thusly, as per state law, the ban on carry-in alcohol is now back in place.
Fans will still be allowed to bring coolers into the facility, but alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited. Furthermore, after numerous complaints about the size of coolers being brought into the grandstands, all coolers will now be subjected to a go/no-go box before being allowed into the facility.
“We were happy to accommodate the fans for the first month of the season, but the law takes this matter out of our hands,” said Speedway promoter Jon Raney. ” We have renovated the old “beer barn” over the past month and look forward to the debut of a new Speedway bar and several new items. It is also our intention to run some specials throughout the summer. We appreciate everyone’s understanding in this matter and hope everyone can continue to have a good time!”
